The frost that has hit the lower terraces of the vineyard has luckily spare our vines on slopes. Though the growing season was sunny, temperatures were not as warm as usual which explained that maturity happened 10 days later than 2020.
2021 harvest started on Monday 13th of September with Syrah and Consult.
Grapes were ripe then and we did harvest with a sustained pace as the weather forecast was very uncertain.
We finished on Saturday 25th of September, just before the big rains that fell on the vineyard.
The crop is beautiful and juicy are fruity with alcohol lower than usual.
